MISSION​

The mission of "Generations for Garfield - A Community for All Ages" is to create a city that offers all generations of residents, particularly our older adults, the resources necessary to safely and conveniently live in Garfield. This will be accomplished by addressing:

• TRANSPORTATION: bringing all available public and private      transportation resources to better navigate the city and surrounding areas. 

​

• COMMUNICATION: through newsletters, websites, social media and  community events we will raise awareness of healthcare, education,  transportation and other valuable resources to our residents.

• SOCIAL INCLUSION: creating opportunities for older adults to be heard and participate in planning for improvements in housing options and  transportation.
